Anders dan vele andere DJ's, had Tim Hoeben zijn eerste aanraking met house niet op vijfjarige leeftijd, noch was hij toen zijn eigen mixtapes aan het knippen en plakken. Nee, Tim, geboren en getogen Amsterdam, werd voor het eerst geïntroduceerd met elektronische muziek op z'n zestiende, toen hij voor het eerst een echte club bezocht. Vanaf toen groeide zijn interesse voor deze muziek, en niet veel later begon hij zelf met het draaien van plaatjes.
Van deep tot tech, van Chicago tot Detroit, Tim z'n dj-sets zijn gefocust op house. Old skool met new skool combinerend, altijd op zoek naar een vette bassline en groovy percussie. Met deze sound, en een stage performance die niet onopgemerkt bleef, won Tim de 2009/2010 editie van de TWSTd DJ Contest, Nederlands meest gerenommeerde en grootste dj contest.
Met de overwinning op zak, en meerdere optredens in grote clubs als de Studio 80, Paradiso en de Melkweg, doet Tim keihard z'n best om een plekje in de geliefde Nederlandse house scene te veroveren. Met zijn uplifting muziek en enthousiaste performance wil hij mensen de hele nacht laten dansen...

Unlike your typical DJ, Tim Hoeben wasn't introduced with house music at the age of five, nor was he cutting and pasting his own mixtapes by then. No, Tim, born and raised in Amsterdam, was introduced with electronic music when he was sixteen, visiting his first club night. After that, his interest in the music grew, and not much later he started playing records himself.

From deep to tech, from Chicago to Detroit, Tim's dj-sets are all about house music. Combining old skool with the new, always looking for the thick bassline and groovy percussion. With this sound, and a stage performance worth mentioning, Tim won himself both the Jury and the Audience prize at the 2009/2010 TWSTd DJ Contest, Holland's most renowned and biggest DJ competition.

Bagging this victory, and multiple performances at big clubs like Studio 80, Paradiso and De Melkweg, Tim is doing his best to earn himself a spot in the beloved Dutch house scene. With his uplifting music and enthusiastic performance he aims to keep people dancing all night long...
